KSECRET SEOUL 1988 Essence: Snail Mucin 97% + Rice is a 100 ml hydrating essence made with 970,000 ppm of snail secretion filtrate, the classic K-beauty ingredient for bouncy, smooth-looking skin. Small amounts of rice seed extract, rice water and rice ferment filtrate (sake) add support for a fresh, radiant complexion, while sodium hyaluronate, panthenol and allantoin boost moisture and comfort. The texture is a slightly viscous, silky essence that absorbs quickly without stickiness, so it layers easily under serum, cream and makeup. Use it morning and evening after cleansing and toner. It suits all skin types — including oily and sensitive skin — and is especially helpful for dehydrated or dull-looking skin. Two caveats: snail mucin is animal-derived, so the essence is not vegan, and anyone with a known snail or mollusc allergy should avoid it. It is fragrance-free and oil-free.
