Lactobionic Acid (a gentler PHA) rounds out the exfoliating blend, while Centella Asiatica, Heartleaf (Houttuynia Cordata), panthenol, and Ceramide NP are included to buffer the acids and support the skin barrier. It's formulated as a leave-on toner applied with a cotton pad, typically used in the evening a few times a week rather than daily, working best for oily or acne-prone skin that can tolerate exfoliating acids. It is not recommended for dry, sensitive, or rosacea-prone skin, since the combined AHA/BHA strength can be stripping for those skin types. As with any exfoliating acid product, daytime sun protection is essential, and it should not be layered with other strong actives (retinoids, additional acids) on the same night to avoid over-exfoliation and irritation.
